Program of Rehabilitation of Roads in FB&H Completed
The program ‘rehabilitation of roads in the FB&H’, implemented by the Company Ceste FB&H d.o.o. (Ceste=Roads) has been successfully completed.
The works under this program, worth 210,7 million BAM, is financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), World Bank (WB) and funds from the company Ceste FB&H d.o.o. The implementation of works, which began in 2008, includes rehabilitation works on about 1350 km of main roads and facilities, or 117 parts of the main road network in the FB&H.
The works included the rehabilitation of asphalt pavement, improving drainage, reconstruction and development of vertical and development of horizontal signalization, replacement of equipment of roads (guardrails), sanitization, improving traffic safety (construction of hiking trails and intersections), building a slow lane on the slopes, etc., and all with the goal to increase the level of services and improving security of traffic, announced Ceste FB&H d.o.o.
