Television Nova launches broadcast
Nova.rs Television launched broadcast on Tuesday and the ceremony to mark the beginning gof operation was attended by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic and German Ambassador in Belgrade Heinz Wilhelm.
At the ceremony, the television management was presented, as well as the programme scheme and the team members.
German investor Bernd Matthias Dietel said that the investment totalled several dozen million euros and added that it will make room for opening of 450 new jobs. He expressed the belief that Nova.rs Television would be useful for Serbian citizens and that will also contribute to a new media image.
Ditel expressed the belief that the investment in Serbia will be good and successful, and added that he opted for the investment because ‘he believes in this country and its people’.
Dacic and Wilhelm officially put the television into operation, after which the prime minister expressed the satisfaction that another German investment has been realised in Serbia which will serve as additional bridge of cooperation between the two countries.
He wished high-quality programme and satisfied audience for the newly-opened television.
Wilhelm said that German investments in Serbia so far were realised mostly in the industry sector and that the latest investment in the media sector comes as a sign that investments will spread to other areas as well.
